Commissioning, testing and handover
We test the charger under load, confirm it charges your vehicle correctly, walk you through using it, and supply the compliance certificate.
Fixed price, agreed upfront
Every install is quoted with a fixed price agreed in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the day. Your exact price depends on:
- The charger unit and the distance from your switchboard
- Whether your switchboard has capacity for a new dedicated circuit
- Cable routing, wall type and mounting position

Frequently asked questions
You can, but it draws from a normal powerpoint and charges very slowly, often more than a day for a full charge. A wall-mounted charger on its own circuit is faster, safer, and doesn't tie up an outlet you need for something else.
Yes. An EV charger draws a heavy, sustained load and must run on its own dedicated, protected circuit back to the switchboard. Running one off an existing circuit is not compliant and is a genuine fire risk.
Many older boards won't have the space or capacity for a new dedicated circuit. We check this during the assessment and include any required switchboard work in your upfront quote, so nothing changes on the day.
A straightforward garage install close to the switchboard is usually done in half a day. Longer cable runs, outdoor mounting or switchboard upgrades can extend this, which we'll flag in the quote before we book you in.
